While a standard baby hat is often made entirely of cotton, the Mini Beanie has a Mulberry Silk lining specially chosen to reduce friction during your baby's long hours of sleep.

The exterior: 96% cotton and 4% spandex for structure, warmth, and fit. The interior: 100% Mulberry Silk. Together, they form something that no single material can achieve on its own.

Hair breakage in babies is often associated with prolonged friction between hair and textiles while sleeping, in the pram, or in the car seat.

The Mulberry Silk lining of the Mini Beanie has an exceptionally smooth surface, which can help reduce this friction. Developed from insights from tribological and dermatological research.

The Mini Beanie has been developed for babies aged 0 to 12 months. The materials used have been carefully selected for their softness and suitability for the most sensitive baby skin.

Mulberry Silk is naturally hypoallergenic, a property that has made the material special for centuries.

The Mini Beanie is available in two sizes: NB/0–6 months and 6–12 months.

Choose 0–6 months for newborns and young babies. Choose 6–12 months for slightly larger heads. Undecided? Choose the larger size; the Comfort-Fit™ Design ensures a comfortable fit in both sizes.

Mulberry Silk is a natural protein fiber that naturally reacts to the ambient temperature. In summer, the fabric feels cool because it does not retain heat. In winter, it provides insulation and retains your baby's body heat longer.

This makes the Mini Beanie suitable for year-round use, without having to change hats as the seasons change.

How exactly does that work at a fiber level? We'd rather let you feel it than explain it.

Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C, inside out. Do not tumble dry. Hang to dry.
